Whether you are just stopping by in Grenoble, or are staying here for a few years for studies or for your job, you are welcome at Orient’Alp, the most versatile orienteering club in Grenoble.
If like us, you have a passion for orienteering, whether it is by foot, by bike, by ski, or any combination, you will find at Orient’Alp many training or racing partners of all levels, from World champions to the beginners in the club.
There are also several families who share looking after the kids and doing the kids courses with them while parents run.
One of Orient’Alp core values is to help all newcomers to acquire the key orienteering skills so that they can quickly enjoy themselves in the forest. Another is to cultivate our diversity and to practice all forms of orienteering.
We also try to maintain the best club spirit through common activities : weekly trainings, participation in team events, organisation of events, and our yearly week-end training event.
We have a weekly training event on Wednesday evening at 7pm, physical trainings some Thursday evening at 6:30pm and regular forest trainings on Saturday afternoons. Please contact us if you are planning to come to one.
You don’t have to be fluent in French to join Orient’Alp : We have several native and fluent English speakers in the club and many others work in international companies or study in university.
